Make Your Own Wine Rack With PVC Pipes
Every wine lover dreams of having his own wine rack where he can store his favourite brands of red and white wine. However, most wine racks are quite expensive and the inexpensive ones are of bad quality and don’t provide the necessary protection to the bottles. I myself cannot afford an expensive one, because I have quite a lot of expenses, and I am sure you have too… Fortunately, you could create your own wine racks from unused PVC pipes. To make your own wine rack from PVC pipes you will obviously need PVC pipes or various sizes, screws, screwdrivers, and paint. Begin by cutting the PVC pipes into big enough pieces to store a standard bottle of wine. Now paint the different pieces of pipe. You can either paint every single piece of pipe in one colour or use different colours to create an extravagant masterpiece.
The next step is to screw the pipes to one another. Here you can either screw the large pipes together and create a standard 3×3, 4×4, 5×5 and etc wine racks or you can place a smaller PVC pipe between two bigger pipes and create a contemporary designed wine rack. No matter what options you choose, be careful not the damage the newly applied paint of the pipes.
Note that there are no rules when you are attaching the pipes and you could free your creativity to the fullest. Before placing any wine bottle in the wine holders, test the rack by placing an empty bottle in the holders. If the rack doesn’t fall or break, you are good to go.
